PenLight’s commercial lighting incentive program covers a portion of the cost to upgrade your lighting. Your business will save on operation and maintenance costs while providing an improved work environment.

To start the incentive process, the BPA Lighting Calculator must be completed and submitted for pre-approval.

Commercial HVAC Incentives
Commercial HVAC incentives are available for the following qualifying installations meeting energy efficiency requirements:
- Air-Source Heat Pump Retrofit – $700 per ton.
- Air-Source Heat Pump Upgrade – $150 per ton.
- Ductless Heat Pump Retrofit – $1,000 per ton.
- Ductless Heat Pump Upgrade – $300 per ton.
- Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) System Retrofit – $1,000 per ton.
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) on Air Handling Unit Fan (AHU) – $300 per horsepower.
- Commercial Packaged Terminal Heat Pump (PTHP) Retrofit – $600 per PTHP
- Advanced Rooftop Unit Controls (ARC Full) – $250 per ton.
- Advanced Rooftop Unit Controls (ARC Lite) – $120 per ton. advanced rooftop unit control qualified products list
Other Commercial Incentives
- Heat Pump Water Heater – $600 per unit. Must be replacing a standard electric water heater.
- Window Upgrade – $9 per square foot. Building must be electrically heated.
